I have seen countless adverts on tv for dating websites such as match.com and eharmony. I have signed up to both websites but the problem I have found that there are no guys in my area as they are in the surrounding areas and with working full time when are we suppose to meet up.
I only have the weekends free but what if they do shift work then it'll be even harder to find the time to meet up. This reminds me of Sandra Bullock in the.net where she played a reclusive software developer, I am not a recluse but I can see some simiarlities between me and Sandra with constantly being online.
With online dating I have found a number of guys just don't message back but it's because they are not online that much. In other words I'm online too much and I need to get offline more.
I was watching You've Got Mail the other day (i really love that film but any film with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan is always good) . It's about them two getting together after emailing one another online. It works in the film but not in real life.

One Whole Year
It has been a year since I have been on a date with a guy. I started to wonder if I am going through a drought and I just need to give it some time and the rain will soon fall. I guess I could help my love life by going out more than I do.
I am quiet shy person so I do prefer to stay at home rather than go out. I do find going to the same places a bit tiresome I do like having friends round and playing some music and chat rather than going to clubs.
I am going to have to start going to places that guys go to such as martial arts classes or rock nights. I did go to kickboxing classes before christmas and there quite a few guys there.
I have been texting this guy for a week or so hopefully we'll meet up at the weekend.

Redundant?
I have been made redundant in my clerical job and since this has happened I think it will be the best time to become a freelance writer. I have started earning some money with demand studios
and I will be starting to seeking voluntary work doing writing and then after that I will be sending off article queries to various magazines and newspapers.
I have already setup a few blogs on my interests and uploaded my website www.blue-bell-writing.co.uk so fingers crossed that I start to get my writing out into the world.
